Lotus Servicing and Repairs

We are an official 'Authorised Repairer' appointed by Lotus Cars Ltd and have the full range of diagnostic equipment, special tools and technical support from the Lotus Factory to look after your Lotus.

Our well equipped Lotus workshop and experienced Factory trained technicians, are able to handle any routine servicing or other work your Lotus Elise, Exige or M100 Elan may require.  We operate a fixed price service menu with competitive rates.

All prices include parts, labour and VAT.

Lotus Elise & Exige (K-series engine) & Lotus M100 Elan 

Please note a cambelt change is included in the price of a C Service for the Elise/Exige, but not for the M100 Elan.

The Elise/Exige cambelt needs to be changed at 4 year intervals (which is more frequent than the C service intervals).

Lotus Elise & Exige (Toyota engine)

At specified time or mileage intervals, Lotus require additional work to be carried out over and above the standard annual service.  The prices for these items are:

For the above items, these should be changed at whichever interval occurs first, mileage or time.

Lotus Europa (new type)

Annual service £250

Please note that at certain specified mileages and time intervals for the Europas, additional work to the standard annual service needs to be carried out - this will be at extra cost, e.g. replacing air filters, brake fluid, coolant. 

Other Lotus and Caterham 7 servicing

In addition to Lotus Elise and Lotus Exige and M100 Elan servicing, we have experience of working on many of the other models of Lotus cars, including the original Elan, Excel and Esprit.  We also carry out Caterham 7 servicing for a number of our customers.

Lotus repairs and performance parts

As well as routine Lotus servicing, we are able to carry out Lotus repair work, not to mention performance upgrades - be they suspension, brake or engine related.

We sometimes find that Lotus owners ask if they can supply the Lotus upgrade parts for their car and then we carry out the fitting.  This is never normally a problem, and we are happy to source Lotus car parts for you or use parts you supply.

The only restriction on owner-supplied parts is that we will not fit those that we do not feel are of high quality.  A thoroughbred sports car like a Lotus deserves the best!

Lotus MOTs

We are a licensed MOT testing station and many of our customers take advantage of this to combine their annual Lotus service with the MOT test.

Lotus interior trim & hoods

We can carry any work from recovering seats, to replacing hoods and tonneaus, to carrying out a complete re-trim.  Our coach trimming experts, Shaun, Dave and Rocco have a vast wealth of experience from the simple to the most complex of projects.

Courtesy car

To make things as easy as possible for you when bringing your Lotus in for service, we have a free courtesy car you can use.  Please give us plenty of warning if you would like to use our courtesy car - it is popular!  Alternatively we can normally run you to/from Bedford or Milton Keynes mainline stations.

Lotus collection and delivery service

Should you require it, we are able to offer a collection and delivery service for your Lotus Elise on our transporter.
