Performance Driving

As sports car enthusiasts, we believe driving should be safe, rewarding and fun. Performance driver training courses are a great way to help achieve this. They improve your driving skills and allow a better understanding of your car so enabling you to more fully and safely explore its potential.

We are pleased to be able to offer a variety of courses through ‘CAT Driver Training Ltd’. The company is run by Colin Hoad, who has an impressive CV and extensive qualifications in driver training, both road and track. He is also featured in EVO magazine's 'Ask the Expert' section. In addition, Colin spent many years working for Libra Motive, formerly a top Morgan Dealer - so for our Morgan owners, he knows your cars well!

Cornering techniques, braking, vehicle dynamics and balance, advanced road driving, skid control, are but a few of the areas that can be covered in courses. The training can be undertaken on the road, on the track, or a mixture of both. For track work, Millbrook Proving Ground - just 10 minutes away from us - with its variety of different circuits makes an ideal venue.

CAT Driver Training is able to offer instruction in either your own car, or else one of their track prepared cars - choose from a Lotus Elise, Subaru Impreza or a Caterham 7.

As well as tailor-made courses, there is a fixed price 1/2 day ‘experience’ at the Millbrook Proving Ground. This is in your choice of Lotus Elise or Subaru Impreza and is priced at £450.
