Morgan Plus 4 Babydoll VI

Morgan +4 Babydoll VI

The Morgan +4 Babydoll VI is a limited edition model being built to celebrate the original Morgan Babydoll V which was ordered from the factory in the spring of 1962 by Lew Spencer, a well-known Southern California Sports Car Club of America member and local Morgan dealer.

The car was to be his ultimate Morgan racecar; a sleek, low-body successor to Baby Doll IV, the car with which he won the 1962 SCCA C-production National Championship.

The design of this latest limited edition 'Babydoll' is inspired by the Morgan race cars of the 1960s.

Morgan +4 Babydoll VI Specification

At the heart of the car is a full race 250 BHP 2.0 Duratec engine, Mazda gearbox, uprated clutch and flywheel.

Keeping the performance under control are front and rear disc brakes and an uprated suspension system including anti-tramp bars, Gaz adjustable shock absorbers, sports exhaust system and panhard rod.

The Morgan +4 Babydoll's interior includes carbon race seats with 4-point harnesses, new style wooden dashboard, foot rest, aluminium floor pans, fire extinguisher and removable steering wheel.

The specification for the exterior includes Yokohama AO48 205/60 R15 tyres, aero screens, reduced sill trims, front air duct undertray, rain light, traditional 9 stud hood and a Babydoll badge on the back panel.

Optional extras for the +4 Babydoll VI

There is a choice of 2 colours: Kingfisher Blue with white stripes and Westminster Green with yellow stripes

A number of extras can be specified for the Morgan +4 Babydoll at additional cost.  These include larger race ready brake calipers and brake pads (not road legal), 4.33:1 diff, silver Minilite 7J wheels, 3 eared spinners, spot lights, heater and high roll cage.
