Morgan Plus 4 SuperSports
The Morgan +4 SuperSports is a limited edition model built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Morgan +4. The design is inspired by the Morgan race cars of the 1960s.
This is no ordinary Morgan and it benefits from an incredible list of upgrades and extras included as standard within the specification. The question is just knowing where to start when running through the list!
Morgan +4 SuperSports Specification
At the heart of the car is a tuned 2 litre engine with throttle bodies, variable cam, revised engine management system and performance exhaust to provide 200 bhp (compared to 145 bhp for the standard +4). The result is a great sounding engine and superb performance.
Keeping the performance under control are a limited slip diff, uprated brakes and suspension system, including adjustable shock absorbers, panhard rod and anti-tramp bar.
The Morgan +4 SuperSports' interior includes as standard, black leather upholstery, reclining sports seats, light ash dashboard with toggle switches and starter button, 'banjo' steering wheel, stop watch timing clocks.
The specification for the exterior includes Minilite wheels, 3-eared spinners, performance 205/65 R15 tyres, mesh grill, bonnet scoop, front undertray, Le Mans style filler cap, flat rear panel with louvres, traditional 9 stud hood.
Optional extras for the +4 SuperSports
There is a choice of 6 colours: Iris Blue, RAF Blue, Almond Green, Sport Red, English White, Primrose Yellow.
A number of extras can be specified for the Morgan +4 SuperSports at additional cost. These include a removable hard top, driving lights, tonneau cover, graphics pack, MP3 compatible sound system.
There is also a race pack comprising: Yokohama 048R M tyres, fire extinguisher, single perspex aeroscreen, single Sabelt racing seat, driver's 4-point harness, brake bias valve, battery cut off wwitch, inertia bypass switch, FIA rain light, tow straps, roll cage, decals and roundalls.
