Due to enter production in 2010, the Morgan Aero SuperSports is the stunning successor to the Morgan AeroMax and Aero 8 and unlike anything else on the road.
It is a fantastic example of Morgan's ability to produce hand-built cars combining traditional craftsmanship, the very latest technology and unique styling.
Weighing in at about 1200kg with perfect 50:50 weight distribution, a BMW 367 bhp V8 engine and the race proven chassis from the Aero 8, this car will go as good as it looks.
The roof is a removable targa-style top, the interior features polished hardwoods and hand-stitched leather and combines unique style with comfortable ergonomics.
As standard, the car will come with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, although a manual 'box can be specified if preferred. Optional twin pipe, side exit exhausts look superb and sound fantastic. The SuperSports can be supplied in any colour from the Glasurit paint range and any type of Muirhead or Yarwood leather.
Production of the Morgan SuperSports will be limited to just 175 cars in total and levels of interest since its announcment in April 2009 have been high. The price of a car in standard specification will be £124,200 and a £25,000 deposit is required to reserve one of these cars.
The race-going version of the SuperSports is already showing its pedigree, proving to be highly competitive on track in the GT3 class. Lightweight, a very rigid chassis and an excellent engine making for a winning combination as proved at Silverstone earlier this year.
