A radical new design for Morgan, the first Morgan Aero 8 was launched in 2000.  Significantly updated in 2006, with further additions in 2008, the current Morgan Aero 8 features a host of revisions including a restyled front end based on the stunning Aeromax.  The Aero 8 incorporates the latest technology, from its bonded aluminium chassis to 4.8 litre V8 BMW engine producing nearly 370bhp!

Performance and handling of the Morgan Aero 8 is awesome - indeed the competition version is proving highly successful on the racetracks - and the styling combines traditional Morgan lines with advanced aerodynamics.  A truly unique car!

Morgan Aero 8 - a stunning 'super car'

The Aero 8 is a 2 seater, more supercar than sports car, with unusually for a Morgan, a spacious boot, not to mention other 'luxuries' such as air-conditioning, electric windows, variable assistance power steering and state-of-the-art ABS.  An automatic 6-speed gearbox can also be specified.

You will have to be quick to buy a new Aero 8 as 2009 is the last year of production in its current format.  2010 sees the Aero 8 giving way to the Aero SuperSports - a fabulous car which uses the chassis, engine, gearbox and all running gear of the Aero, but considerably more expensive.  So with the final Aero 8s of 2009 you'll get an awful lot of car for your money - don't miss out!

Morgan Aero SuperSports

Due to enter production in 2010, the SuperSports is a stunning successor to both the Aero 8 and its limited edition variant, the AeroMax.

Weighing in at about 1200kg with perfect 50:50 weight distribution, a 367 bhp V8 engine from BMW and the race proven chassis from the Aero 8, means this car will go as good as it looks.

The roof is a removable targa-style top, the interior features polished hardwoods and hand-stitched leather and combines unique style with comfortable ergonomics.  Twin pipe, side exit exhausts look superb and sound fantastic.

It is anticipated that production of the SuperSports will be limited to 200 in total and levels of interest in this car since its announcment in April 2009 have been high.  The price will be around £127,000 and a £25,000 deposit is required to reserve one of these cars.
