Breakfast Club
Held on the first Saturday of every month, our Breakfast Clubs are a popular place to catch up on all things motoring. Visitors share a sports car passion and come to chat with like-minded folk who speak car.
Each month we have a different speaker or workshop to boost your knowledge, entertain you or just provide an excuse to take your car out for a drive. Past topics have included tips for buying or selling cars, valeting masterclasses, test drive days and talks on motor racing.
Bacon rolls, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits are served from 9:30, though as it's a breakfast not a brunch club, arrive too late and the food will be finished! There's no need to book, just turn up and bring anyone who prefers to spend Saturday mornings in a garage than a garden centre.
The themes for our next meetings are:
Saturday 4th October - Introducing Supersport
Our Morgan Supersport demonstrator will have arrived in the preceding week. So we'll have it on display at the Breakfast Club and Phil will talk about its design and development and how Morgan bring new cars to market. We don't plan to offer test drives during the actual Breakfast Club, but do let Phil know if you'd like to arrange a drive at a later time/date.
Saturday 1st November - winter storage and projects
It's that time of the year when many people are thinking of taking their car off the road or planning upgrades or other project work during the winter months. We'll be giving our thoughts on how to lay a car up for winter storage and running through a few ideas for work and projects that might suit the winter months.
Saturday 6th December - Scalextric challenge
It's our annual challenge where we break out the Scalextric track and test just how good people's driving skills are. And the answer...well, enthusiasm normally outweighs ability, as Breakfast Club attendees battle for 'desirable' prizes and instant kudos!
Saturday 3rd January - NO BREAKFAST CLUB
The one month of the year where we don't hold a Breakfast Club, but look out for normal service being renewed in February...
