Breakfast Club
Held on the first Saturday of every month, our Breakfast Clubs are a popular place to catch up on all things motoring. Visitors share a sports car passion and come to chat with like-minded folk who speak car.
Each month we have a different speaker or workshop to boost your knowledge, entertain you or just provide an excuse to take your car out for a drive. Past topics have included tips for buying or selling cars, valeting masterclasses, test drive days and talks on motor racing.
Bacon rolls, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits are served from 9:30, though as it's a breakfast not a brunch club, arrive too late and the food will be finished! There's no need to book, just turn up and bring anyone who prefers to spend Saturday mornings in a garage than a garden centre.
The themes for our next meetings are:
Saturday 4th July - Sporting Bears
We're really pleased to welcome along as our guest speaker, Andrew Lake, who's the Chair of the Sporting Bears Motoring Club. This a car club for all types of car enthusiasts and its primary aim is to raise money for children’s charities in the UK, via its Dreamrides and static events. Since the Club was formed it's raised over £3.5 million!

Saturday 1st August - S-Sport
This month ex Lotus Engineer Simon Scleater of Stradale Sport Ltd will be jointly discussing his reimagined Lotus and Alfa mid engined sports and race cars. Discussing customer projects and some of the work we jointly get involved with. Anyone for a Jaguar powered Supercharged V8 Esprit?
Saturday 5th September - Car design: Pens, paper, clay and a lot of arguments....
Martin Peach has kindly agreed to be this month's speaker. Martin has been involved in automotive design throughout his career and maintains a passion for just about any moving transport device. We can't wait to hear some of his stories. Why not look at Martin's artwork at his website www.mjpeachpatch.co.uk
Saturday 3rd October - Fancy writing a book and getting it published?
Roy Smith and our very own Phil are teaming up to spill the beans, the secrets, process, highs and not so many lows of writing and publishing a motoring book. With 14 books between them they have plenty of experience to pass on.
Saturday 7th November - Hungerhill Vineyard
Just down the road from us is Hungerhill Vineyard who produce a range of award winning still and sparkling wines. We're delighted to welcome Andrew Barnes, founder and owner of the vineyard, who'll be talking about his wines and the story behind the vineyard.

Saturday 5th December - Scalextric Challange
