Breakfast Club

Held on the first Saturday of every month, our Breakfast Clubs are a popular place to catch up on all things motoring. Visitors share a sports car passion and come to chat with like-minded folk who speak car.

Each month we have a different speaker or workshop to boost your knowledge, entertain you or just provide an excuse to take your car out for a drive. Past topics have included tips for buying or selling cars, valeting masterclasses, test drive days and talks on motor racing.

Bacon rolls, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits are served from 9:30, though as it's a breakfast not a brunch club, arrive too late and the food will be finished! There's no need to book, just turn up and bring anyone who prefers to spend Saturday mornings in a garage than a garden centre.

The themes for our next meetings are:

Saturday 5th July - What were you doing in 1975?

Roy Smith a favourite and popular talk provider will be taking us through what he was doing in 1975, see unseen Silverstone race footage of the Grand Prix and touring cars. Join the discussion especially if you were there

Saturday 2nd August - What’s best, batteries or fuel...?

We're delighted to host a talk by Professor Colin Garner, Lotus owner, car enthusiastic and expert on car propulsion systems. He'll discuss internal combustion engines versus battery electric powertrains. Also, the current status and potential battery capability in 2035 and some of the challenges facing the vehicle, power and energy industries.
