Additional Information
Although a popular sight up to the 1950s, production of the original Morgan 3 Wheeler came to an end in that decade. Morgan then introduced a new 3 Wheeler model in 2011 and it was an instant hit. Indeed, Autocar magazine gave it 5 stars, something that very few cars achieve! As part of Morgan's programme of continual improvement, a number of worthwhile updates and upgrades were introduced in 2014. Production of this model of 3 Wheeler continued until summer 2021 when it was replaced by the 'Super 3'.
The Morgan 3 Wheeler is a rebellion against sanitised, modern motoring, representing ‘no frills all thrills’ motoring with attitude and character. At first glance, the Morgan 3 Wheeler would not be a first choice for long distance travel, yet it exudes a remarkable sense of adventure that compels owners to regularly embark on road trips across countries and even continents.
The Morgan 3 Wheeler is entrenched in British motoring heritage. Albert Ball VC was a highly commended and decorated English fighter pilot during the First World War. As an original Morgan Three Wheeler owner, Ball famously surmised that driving his Morgan was the closest experience to flying without leaving the ground. We quite agree, Tally Ho!
