The Morgan Supersport 400 represents the pinnacle of Morgan's engineering and craftsmanship. It’s the most powerful production Morgan ever created whilst remaining true to the brand's unmistakable character.
The Supersport 400 utilises Morgan's advanced lightweight CXV aluminium chassis and combines timeless British design with superb performance. At its heart there’s a 3 litre BMW turbocharged straight-six engine producing an exhilarating 402bhp. This combines with a weight of just 1,170kg to offer exceptional power-to-weight performance. The result, 0 - 62mph is achieved in just 3.6 seconds, and there’s an engaging, ‘analogue’ driving experience that so many modern cars fail to achieve.
The Supersport 400 is developed from the acclaimed Morgan Supersport and as well as the increased power (335 bhp in a ‘standard’ Supersport) the Supersport 400 benefits from other performance enhancements.
There’s the ‘Dynamic Handling Pack’ with adjustable front and rear Nitron dampers featuring 24 clicks of adjustment and bespoke valving and spring rates, forged 19-inch Sportlite wheels for reduced unsprung weight and an Active Performance exhaust system.
The handcrafted cabin blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary luxury.
Beautifully finished leather with the option of Alcantara inserts, a variety of different seat stitch patterns that can be specified, bespoke instrumentation and an optional machined aluminium gear selector combine to create an environment that is timeless, purposeful and stylish.
A Bluetooth sound system, that can be upgraded to an impressive Sennheiser audio unit, provides entertainment should you ever get bored of the exhaust note!
As with every Morgan, each Supersport 400 is hand built and individually commissioned by its owner, with an almost limitless combination of colours, interior trim and bespoke details.
