The 4/4 model is the Morgan Motor company's and the world’s longest running production car, with the name indicating that it has four wheels and four cylinders and dates to 1936.
The long door variant was introduced from late 1997 and came with 114 changes to meet full European regulations and makes entry and exit easier. It is fitted with the Ford 1800 Zetec engine producing 115 BHP and is coupled with a 5 speed Ford gearbox.
Like all Morgan models, the 4/4 Long Door features a classic design with a low-slung body, long bonnet, and short rear deck. The car is built on a steel ladder chassis and features a body made from ash wood and aluminium panels. Inside, the car features leather upholstery, wooden trim, and classic-style gauges.
This is an early long door model with the powder coated bulkhead and valances. It features desirable extras including a walnut dashboard and Moto lita steering wheel, luggage rack and folding reclining seats.
