The original Morgan Plus 4 was launched in 1950. Always been a 2.0 litre, be it with standard or TR engines back in the day the Plus in the name signifies more power, but still a 4 cylinder engine hence Plus 4 There was a gap from 1969 to 1984 since then it has been a firm favourite and most popular model of the range. This Ford Duratec Plus 4 was launched in 2005 and combines good performance and fuel economy. Powered by the chain driven 2.0 Ford engine it produces a healthy 145 BHP. This 2005 version has the Ford 5 speed gearbox and is ULEZ compliant
The Plus 4 runs with slightly wider wings and tyres to improve road holding and are a joy to drive either on local country roads or long distance touring holidays.
