TVR Hoods

To ensure the best fit, we manufacture our TVR hoods in-house and on a bespoke basis to the dimensions of an individual car.

We remove the hood seals, strip off the old hood material, removing it from the rear fold down section and the targa top. Once the strip out is complete, the structures are checked to ensure everything is correct, and then we'll retrim using a mohair material (available in a variety of colours). Provided the seals are in good condition, these will be re-used.

We can also carry out repairs, for example replacing the rear window (but this does depend on the condition of the rest of the hood material).

The typical costs, based on a TVR Chimaera or Griffith, are:

• New mohair hood (rear section + targa) - £850
• Replace rear window - £295
• Replace seals for targa and rear hoop - £105
